Anna Rossi Doria is associated professor of Women's History at Bologna University, Department of Humanities. After having taught in high school and after having worked at the Istituto di Storia della Resistenza (Institute of The History of Resistance) in Rome, from 1980 to 1990 she taught Women's History at the Cultural Centre "Virginia Woolf" in Rome, as well as in the Department of Humanities at Bologna University, in the Department of Economics at Modena University, in the Department of Italian at Naples University and in the Department of Economy at Calabria University. Here she taught Contemporary History from 1992 to 1998. She is part of the management committee of the "Società italiana delle Storiche", of the direction of the contemporary history magazine "Passato e Presente" and is vice-president of the Roman Institute of the History ot the Resistance.
